Magnetic transducers can be used in hot, cold, clean, or dry environments, and have become increasingly common in industrial settings. They’re often used for thickness measurement and material inspection, and their non-contact sound generation gives them a fair amount of longevity. Our magnetic transducers come in four different categories.
These general use magnetic buzzers require an external drive circuit. They are some of the simplest transducers we offer, and cannot be washed.
This is our selection of ST magnetic buzzers designed for oven reflow soldering termination. Some of the ST series have side firing holes that makes them easier to clean, but they can’t be put through a standard wash cycle.
Our WST series are general use magnetic buzzers with an internal drive circuit, so they can operate on voltage alone. The sound hole is covered, so these buzzers are completely washable.
